Tehaleh Heights Elementary School is full of Super Kids. The kids say that performing acts of kindness, like cleaning up trash and weeding, makes them happy. As of mid-October they already had performed 1788 acts of kindness and raised $32,841. Special thanks to Cool Bird and the Seattle Thunderbirds!
Ten-year-old Ava and her family raise money for Love Like Crazy, the foundation they started after losing Ava’s 4-year-old sister to brain cancer. Eight-year-old Samara has been making care packages for homeless persons which she has been distributing at shelters in Tacoma since she was 5. She braids paracord bracelets which she then sells to buy toiletry supplies and blankets. She and her friends make homemade cards to go in the care packages. Special thanks to Wild Waves …
Autumn started her own anti-bullying campaign after being bullied for 5 years. She designed a shirt “Bullying Stops Here” and for every 200 shirts she sells she donates 600 to her school. Her goal is to provide shirts for her entire school! Special thanks to Tacoma Art Museum for their support!
