During Lexus of Tacoma’s December to Remember Event, we’re taking time to remember this year’s Super Kids, including some unseen footage.
Tehaleh Heights Elementary School is full of Super Kids. The kids say that performing acts of kindness, like cleaning up trash and weeding, makes them happy. As of mid-October they already had performed 1788 acts of kindness and raised $32,841. Special thanks to Cool Bird and the Seattle Thunderbirds!
Ten-year-old Ava and her family raise money for Love Like Crazy, the foundation they started after losing Ava’s 4-year-old sister to brain cancer. In addition to cutting off all her hair to raise money, Ava has participated in toy drives and other fund-raising activities. Eight-year-old Samara has been making care packages for homeless persons which she has been distributing at shelters in Tacoma since she was 5. She braids paracord bracelets which she then sells to buy toiletry supplies and blankets. She and her friends make homemade cards to go in the care packages. Special thanks to Wild Waves …
