Finally! Sam Smith’s NW concert has been rescheduled!

Remember when Sam Smith was supposed to play Key Arena in early February? Then the show was postponed because the tour had put a severe strain on his voice and his doctors told him he needed to maintain “vocal rest.” We were supposed to hang on to our tickets until a rescheduled date was announced. Well, now we know when that’s going to happen, but the show’s not going to be at Key Arena anymore.

The Sam Smith show is moving to The Gorge, on August 8. If you’re holding a ticket for the Key Arena show, you’re in — but you can’t just take your Key ticket to the Gorge and get it; you have to exchange your ticket for a seat at the Gorge before the concert starting today (February 24.). Here’s how the exchange will work, according to the concert promoter:

“Fans who bought tickets to the original show via the phone or Internet will receive an email about exchanging their tickets, and those who purchased their tickets via the box office or retail outlets should go back to their point of purchase for assistance with exchanging theirs. Original tickets for the KeyArena date will not be valid for entry at the Gorge Amphitheatre. Ticket holders can contact Ticketmaster Customer Service with any additional concerns at 1-800-653-8000.”

If you didn’t get tickets for the original show, but you’d like to buy some, additional tickets will go on sale this Friday February 27 at 10am at, all Ticketmaster outlets, or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

And, best of all, you can win ’em before you can buy ’em all this week in the 7:00am hour on Warm 106.9!
