Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks unite communities behind the American Cancer Society’s efforts to save lives from breast cancer.

  • Registration opens at 9:00am and the official walk start is 10:00am. The event is a non-competitive, 3-mile walk.
  • Sign up online for easy check-in the day of the walk. All event participants, including children, need to register for the walk.
  • Gas Works Park is located at 2101 N Northlake Way in Seattle. Our walk will venture through the Fremont neighborhood, along the Burke Gilman Trail.

Walk Begins with everyone walking together, but our event is not a race. Stop whenever you want or need to. There will be two water stations along the route, as well as at the finish line. You absolutely do not need to complete the entire walk if you are unable. The walk concludes when the final walker crosses the finish line.

All breast cancer survivors are encouraged to visit the Survivor VIP Experience Tent to receive their survivor shirt, sash, enjoy some special surprises, and be recognized and celebrated.
