Join Shellie Hart and the Warm 106.9 crew as we help usher in the holiday season in downtown Seattle with the annual tree lighting and carousel.
The seasonal sights and sounds will begin around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, with the lighting of the Westlake holiday tree and the Macy’s shining holiday star, followed by a festive fireworks display lighting up the downtown sky.
Our iconic holiday carousel in Westlake Park whirls into action for its 30th year. The carousel features 18 colorful horses, a double chariot and hundreds of twinkling energy-efficient LED lights. The suggested donation to ride the carousel is $3. Proceeds will benefit Treehouse, a local nonprofit organization helping provide foster kids a childhood and a future.
The Holiday Carousel will operate during the following hours from Nov. 23 through Jan 1:
– Sunday – Thursday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
