Light The Night is Going Virtual – October 20th
October 20, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today. LLS is making cures happen by providing patient support services, advocating for lifesaving treatments and pioneering the most promising cancer research anywhere. And it’s all happening now. Not someday, but today. Each year friends, families, and coworkers form teams to raise money in support of our mission.
This year, in the fall, these teams and their communities Light The Night at our walks where we gather together to celebrate, honor and remember those touched by cancer. To register for this event on October 16th 2021, please visit www.lightthenight.org
As a mission-driven health organization, nothing is more important to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society(LLS) than the safety and well-being of blood cancer patients, their families, and the many staff, volunteers, donors, partners, and campaign participants who serve them. With this in mind, and many conversations with our healthcare partners, as new COVID-19 cases are rising with the Delta variant, we’ve made the decision to alter 2021 plans for the Puget Sound Light The Night.
While we hoped and planned to Light The Night in person this Fall, we will now Light The Night virtually in 2021.Though our event format is changing, we know our collective passion to bring light to darkness of cancer will shine through with the continued commitment of supporters like you. We are dedicated to providing a best-in-class virtual experience that will allow us to display that passion for helping end blood cancers.
The Puget Sound Virtual Light The Night experience will be held on Wednesday, October 20th from 6:30 to 7:30pm.
As a past participant, you are among the first to receive this news. Your experience leading up to Light The Night will remain the same once you register. We will share more details about Light The Night’s virtual event night experience over the upcoming weeks.
For now, we invite and ask you to stay engaged with us, continuing the great work to advance your fundraising efforts for our mission. We will Light The Night. We will bring light to the darkness of cancer. We hope you and the people you love are healthy and safe.
Thank you for your continued commitment to LLS. If you have questions or concerns, reach out to your Light The Night Staff Partner, or Ashleigh Farleigh at Ashleigh.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Blood cancer patients need us now more than ever. As you can imagine, Fall 2020 will look different as we prioritize the safety of our patients, volunteers, and supporters.
