Dr. Catherine Athans is a psychologist with a doctorate in both clinical and health psychology and is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Here one year into the pandemic Dr. Athans underscores the need to prioritize self-care: sleep, drink lots of water, eat well, take walks, watch funny movies or read funny material. Women in particular are more impacted by stress which in turn affects our heart, so the selfcare is critical.
