Sally Hurme is an elder law attorney, who has worked with AARP for 25 years, and is the author of what promises to be one of the most important books in our possession–Checklist for My Family: A Guide to My History, Financial Plans, and Final Wishes. Procrastination is prevalent for many people in dealing with the things critically important for each of us. Beginning at age 18, a person should already have a financial power of attorney designated.
