Authorities Shut Down Girls’ Lemonade Stand For Lack Of Permit.

Andria and Zoey Green just wanted to make money for a Father’s Day gift. The girls needed $105 to get their dad a ticket to the Texas waterpark Splash Kingdom, however, their cute little lemonade stand was shut down by an officer.

Their 50 cent lemonade was in violation of a Texas law that states that selling food requires temperature control and is illegal without a permit.

The little girls were told by officials to go to City Hall to get a permit. When they went there, they were then told to go to the health department to also get approval. Their mother, Sandi Evans, decided that she had enough, and their visit stopped at City Hall.

Andria and Zoey are going to try again to take their dad to Splash Kingdom on Saturday, with a lemonade stand that will be accepting donations.
