It looks like the robbery scandal in Brazil hasn’t just hurt Ryan Lochte.  Yes, his major endorsers dropped him and he has been the butt of late-night humor, but things might be looking up for the Olympic swimmer; word on the street is he has signed on to be on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.  No official word has come from Lochte or ABC, but the cast is expected to be announced next Tuesday; season 23 is set to begin September 12th.

On other DWTS news, pro Maksim Chermovsky will return this season after taking 4 seasons off.

With the MTV VMAs set to take place this weekend, we can expect to see our girl Taylor Swift sitting in the front row, dancing away.  But just how much work goes into Taylor’s seating arrangement?  An exec at MTV says they get a lot of requests from celebs who want to be seated next to Taylor.  Could it be because of her killer dance moves?  Could it be because she’s in the front row?  Do they want a spot on her squad?  Probably all of the above!

Prince’s Paisley Park compound is being turned into a museum and it’s set to open to the public on October 6th.  On the 70-minute museum tour, fans will be able to visit the studios where Prince did all his work, as well as the soundstage where he rehearsed for tours and hosted exclusive private concerts.  There will be thousands of artifacts from his personal archives including iconic concert wardrobe, awards, musical instruments, artwork, rare music and video recordings, concert memorabilia, automobiles and motorcycles on display.
