Ashley’s Morning Scoop 2.8.16

The folks at the Super Bowl went all out for the 50th Anniversary’s halftime show, with headliner Coldplay joined by…..other headliners, Beyonce and Bruno Mars. The Queen strutted her stuff, Bruno danced up a storm and in the end, Chris Martin had to push his way between the two to remind people that he was still there. Awkward.

Prior to the Halftime performance by Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Beyonce, Bey received a pretty extravagant gift from hubby Jay-Z in the form of 10,000 ish roses!!

As if Beyonce’s awesome performance wasn’t enough, immediately following the show, Bey’s camp released the dates for her upcoming world tour and she will be making an anxiously awaited stop right here in Seattle on May 18th at the Clink.

After the game the victorious Peyton Manning shared his postgame priorities………. They included kissing his wife and kids and drinking a lot of Budweiser… can you not love Peyton?

Meanwhile the not so victorious Cam Newton sulked into his post game press conference, answered a few questions while pouting and then was asked about how difficult the defeat was for his team……and he stood up and left.

Marshawn Lynch managed to steal some thunder from the biggest sporting event of the year without saying a word. The Seahawks running back tweeted a picture of a pair of cleats hanging on a wire with a peace sign emoji; seemingly announcing his retirement as only Beastmode can.

Russell Wilson – Honor playing with one of the best running backs of all time! Going to miss sharing the backfield with you 24… #BeastMode

Richard Sherman- Salute to my guy @MoneyLynch … It was an honor sharing the field with you.
