Ashley’s Morning Scoop 2.1.16

Fox aired the much anticipated Live performance of Grease last night and the star of the show had to be Vanessa Hudgens, who played Rizzo and dedicated her performance to her father who passed away on Saturday night…… In fact, her performance of “There Are Worse Things I Could Do” — was the most rewound and re-watched minute of the Fox live musical.

The SAG awards were held Saturday night annnnnd…..there wasn’t really much to report, honestly. The best part of this night, in my opinion was the fact that Orange Is The New Black’s Uzo Aduba took her high school prom date to the awards with her. She posted a split screen shot of the two on prom and then again on Saturday night, with the caption “He asked me to the prom, I said yes. I asked him to SAGs, he said yes.”

One of Jimmy Kimmel’s best segments features Snoop Dogg narrating Planet Earth, called Plizzanet Earth. Fans enjoy it so much, that 45,000 of them have signed a petition to have Snoop Dogg narrate an entire season of the real Planet Earth.

Making A Murderer star, Steven Avery has reached out to his supporters via his attorney Kathleen Zellner. The handwritten note says “To my supporters: I want every forensic test possible done b/c I am innocent.” Avery is serving life in prison for murder.
