Ashley’s Morning Scoop 11.6.15

The Holiday season is almost upon us and that means it’s time for the list everyone loves…..Oprah’s Favorite Things!! This year’s list is dubbed Oprah’s Favorite Things EVER and is the biggest of all the lists. It features 87 items that is being deemed as the most versatile and fun ever. Some of the items include:

cutting board with Oprah’s BFF Gayle King’s name on it

a $60 cherry pie

$80 animal shot glasses

a set of porcelain plates that feature pictures of “birds” wearing hats on them for $45.

a giant chocolate turtle basket for $500. Seriously. Oprah describes it as including 15 pounds of chocolate turtles (hand-roasted nuts and caramel coated with milk, dark, or white chocolate) presented in a 5-pound edible basket. And it actually costs you $618.99, because shipping is an extra $118.99. But if you use the code OPRAH, you’ll thankfully get 20 percent off the giant sweet treat.

Of course, those are just a few of the items on O’s list; for all 87 items click HERE.

Speaking of overpriced items, Gisele’s new coffee table book has sold out the day before it even hit shelves. The book features photos of the model, obviously, and chronicles her 20 year career…..and it only costs $700. It should be noted, Gisele plans on donating all the proceeds to charity.

It was revealed earlier this week that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are, in fact, a couple and since it’s been two days, they have already written a country ballad together. The song has yet to be recorded or released, but those in the know say it’s great and Stefani sounds fantastic on a country song. The song is apparently about telling a lover to leave the relationship if that’s what they truly want.

Bindi Irwin has been dominating the competition on Dancing with the Stars, but it appears her contract is a bit of an issue. The teen’s mom signed off on Bindi’s earnings, to allow her to keep all the money she earns, but a judge has held the process up by saying Bindi must get her father to sign off as well, or provide proof of his death. You may remember the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin died in 2006.
