Ashley’s Morning Scoop 11.15.16

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been named People Magazine’s sexiest man alive….. a well-deserved title for the star of Disney’s Moana.

Bravo host Andy Cohen sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight to discuss his new book Superficial and a specific run in with Taylor Swift at this year’s Met Gala.  Cohen talks about seeing Taylor looking for a seat, when he pointed out an open seat. ‘Your friend Katy is sitting in the corner and there’s plenty of room around her,’” he said.  Cohen says Swift then asked, “Katy who?”   “I said, ‘Perry,’ at which point she clearly let me know that she’s the exact opposite of her friend,” he said. “She didn’t threaten me about putting it in my book, so here we are.”  Cohen added in an additional interview that he didn’t intentionally fan flames, but that he’s frequently guilty of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.  “I think she probably thought I was being shady, but I was just being stupid,” he said.  Cohen mentioned that he’s tried to get Swift onto his show many times, but that she’s always declined. He suspects this might have killed his chances completely. He’s probably right.

As I predicted, Laurie Hernandez is headed to the finals of Dancing with the Stars, of course, she’s not alone, joined by Calvin Johnson, Janna Kramer and James Hinchliffe.  Terra Jole was sent home last night in the semi-finals.

Model Ashley Graham now has her own Barbie! It’s part of the Shero series from Mattel.  Graham was gifted with the doll which resembles her perfectly and was hands on during the design, even going so far as to say the doll had to have her thighs touch in order to be true to herself.  Other celebs with their own Shero Barbie are Zendaya, Kristin Chenoweth, Gabby Douglas, Emmy Rossum, Trisha Yearwood and ballerina Misty Copeland.
