You may remember that last week a guy named Jesse Braham filed a $42 Million lawsuit against Taylor Swift for stealing his song lyrics. Graham claimed that Swift uses a 22 word phrase from his song “Haters Gon Hate” that constitutes 92% of her song “Shake it Off” and that it is repeated 70 times in the song. The judge presiding over the case says the Court was unable to identify any such thing. The best part of the Judge’s ruling was her use of Swift’s lyrics to dismiss the suit; At present, the Court is not saying that Braham can never, ever, ever get his case back in court. But, for now, we have got problems, and the Court is not sure Braham can solve them. As currently drafted, the Complaint has a blank space — one that requires Braham to do more than write his name. And, upon consideration of the Court’s explanation in Part II, Braham may discover that mere pleading Band-Aids will not fix the bullet holes in his case. At least for the moment, Defendants have shaken off this lawsuit.

Shonda Rimes, the creator of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder has admitted to killing off a character just because she didn’t like the actor. However, Rimes won’t say who she is talking about and if you have watched any of her shows, she has killed off a lot of characters over the years.
