Yes! It’s the 2nd Annual Sci-Fi Film Festival! (info)

Who wouldn’t want to see their favorite sci-fi movie on the big screen again? Well, now’s your chance! The 2nd Annual Sci-Fi Film Festival starts Thursday, May 1 thru Monday, May 12, at the Cinerama in downtown Seattle. Featuring more than 30 of the all time sci-fi greats in the last 60 years, like “Aliens”

and one of my personal favorites, “Back to the Future”

For geeks like me, that’s already great news, but you can also meet some sci-fi celebs! Actor Sam Jones, who played “Flash Gordon,” will be there for a special Q & A, and so will actor Jonathan Frakes, who played “Riker” in the Star Trek Next Generation movies.

Other movies playing in the festival include John Carpenter’s Escape From New York, Tron, ET, Planet of the Apes, Barbarella, Dune, Aliens and Predator. Which will you choose?

Live long and prosper,

About Sue Romero

Sue Romero has been doing news and traffic on the radio in Seattle since 1994. She is originally from southeast Alaska and moved to Seattle to go to the University of Washington. After graduating, she started her radio career in Houston, Texas, but moved back to Seattle because she missed the trees, hills, water and beauty of the Pacific Northwest. While she was in Texas, Sue danced on the NBA Houston Rockets Dance Team and still regularly takes dance in Seattle. She even attended a Seattle Sea Gals workshop, just for fun! Sue loves movies -- especially sci-fi!
