WARM 106.9 is "The Christmas Station" as you no doubt are aware of if you listen to us during the holidays. So when I ran across this contest to find "Mrs. Holiday," I just had to share it with you.
Taste of Home magazine is looking for the ultimate holiday ambassador and spokesperson. The person they select will be someone who is legendary for cooking the best holiday recipes, decorating her house so it looks like it came out of a magazine, and knows holiday entertaining and how to throw the best holiday parties. So what does Mrs. Holiday get for her efforts? How about $50,000 to start! Plus, she'll travel the country as the Taste of Homes holiday ambassador-- making personal appearances, doing interviews and cooking demonstrations. She'll also make regular contributions to Taste of Home magazine.
Even though this a national contest, I would not be surprised to see someone from Western Washington win. The holidays are so special around here and we have so many great tradition building holiday events every year.
Perhaps you know the very person they're looking for...a Queen of the holidays. Maybe it's someone in your family, or one of your friends, or maybe it's YOU. To enter, you must be at least 18, and they would like you to upload a short video including one of your signature recipes that shows how you bring the holidays to life! Submissions must be made by September 7th.
Mrs. Holiday entries can be submitted for Independence Day, New Years, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and CHRISTMAS.
