TRAFFIC

It's kind of a weird thing..traffic. Every person in every car is going someplace. We are all on our little missions.

From our studio, we have a view of I-90 just north of 405. Somedays, I'll just take a look out there and see ALL of the cars...and I'll say to myself...where is everybody going? When you stop and think, each person is headed SOMEWHERE.  I get kind of curious. Where is that van going? Where is that trucker hawling his load to? Is that group of cars going to work or coming home? Are they listening to WARM 106.9?

The really strange thing is that traffic is never ending. It doesn't stop. Sometimes it's heavy and sometimes light...but it keeps on going around the Puget Sound. It's something we put up with around here.

Traffic is something I never knew when I was a kid. Until I was 10, we lived out in the country outside of Syracuse, N.Y. We would be lucky if a car came by every 10 minutes on my road. Now I live here and traffic is just a way of life. One thing is for sure...I'm glad I'm not a traffic reporter. If I were, I'd be the one telling people, "don't stop and look at that accident! You're holding up traffic!"
