Suggestions for Fun Day Trips

I have a very good friend coming to visit me in August and I'm in the planning stages of figuring out where to take her. So far, here's what I've come up with...

1. San Juan Islands/Friday Harbor

2. Whale Watching

3. Drive around the Olympic Peninsula

4. Pike Place Market

5. Snoqualmie Falls

6. LaConner

7. Mt. Rainier

8. Whidbey Island/Deception Pass

Any other suggestions would be great. I know we can't do everything, but it's good to have a list to pick and choose from. Thanks for your help!
