Do you ever get the feeling that we take living here for granted sometimes? It's easy to pick on the weather. Yes, it rains a lot and there are a lot of cloudy days. But the big secret about the Puget Sound region is our summers are AWESOME.

The sunny weather we get, usually starting in late June and running through mid September, is the best weather in the country. Practically no humidity and lots of sunny days with temperatures that are just right. I personally love the summer weather around here.

On top of the weather, tell me where else in the country do you have BOTH mountains and water so close to a major city? It's an incredible combination...and we have it right here.

So enjoy our area, especially now, when summer is just beginning. We are really lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
