It's Father's Day weekend and there is no shortage of fun things to do with dad. Check out these suggestions...
--The Marysville Strawberry Festival. Our Daryl Summers will be there on Saturday from 4-6pm. Look for the WARM 106.9 tent. We'll have lots of prizes to give away! The Grand Festival parade starts at 7:30 on Saturday. There's a Kiddie Parade at 6pm. Plus, lots of food (yummy strawberries!), arts and crafts, and a car show that runs til 5pm.
--Fremont Fair and Solstice Parade (going on all weekend in Fremont). The parade starts @Noon on Saturday. Also, the "Dads and Dogs" parade is @2:30 on Sunday. That sounds like it could be entertaining. Arts and crafts and lots of good food to sample too.
--New movies out..."Rock of Ages" with Tom Cruise and a HUGE supporting cast. Also, Adam Sandler has a new movie out today called "That's My Boy." Unfortunately, the reviews for Adam's new movie have not been so great.
--And finally, DON'T FORGET that Sunday is Father's Day. Why not do something nice for your Dad. A great idea is to simply spend time with dad. I know he'll appreciate that!
