Father's Day

Father's Day is this Sunday. As a father myself, I can tell you that most dads love to be remembered on Father's Day. For some reason, Mother's Day gets most of the attention. Sure moms are great, but dads really like to be appreciated too!

For me, the most important thing I could receive on Father's Day is spending time with my kids. Unfortunately, my daughter Dana is in British Columbia right now, so I won't get to see her this weekend. So it's my son Chris and I this Sunday. I'm not sure what we'll do but we'll definitely go out for dinner and maybe do a day trip somewhere. My kids are important to me and I love to spend time with them.

If you have a dad, don't forget him this Father's Day. This special day is a great day to mend fences, if by chance, you haven't talked to your dad in a while. Put out an olive branch and renew things with your dad. You will feel good after you do it. I know, because I did this with my own father, and I am so glad I did.

I hope you and your dad have a great day together. Remember, fathers are special too!
