Let's say things were slightly cluttered at my place. A few months ago, the garage at my house was reorganized so I could fit my car inside. In the process, "a few extra boxes" were left over with no place to go, so I temporarily stored them in my living room. It made my house look like I was ready to move somewhere. And I'm not.
This cluttered look was not working for me, and yesterday my friends Kris and Sylvia came over and helped to de-clutter the place. It's amazing what you can do in a couple of hours...it looks SO much better now. Boxes were reorganized and Kris found extra space in my garage to put some in there...and OUT of my living room. Now, I can actually sit in my beautiful tan leather chair. Previously, this chair was blocked off by a couple of large boxes. Now, it's free and I can sit down and read my books there! Very exciting.
The point of this post is to encourage you to organize things around your house too. It will make you feel so much better. I've often read that if you are organized, you feel better AND you are more productive. I really feel that now. So what about you...can you take a couple of hours and just spend it on organizing? If you do, you will feel so much better. It's amazing what getting rid of clutter can do for your attitude...
P.S. That horrific picture is NOT at my house!]
