CBS TV's "The Price is Right" is looking for its first male model. The show has been going strong for the past 40 years (can you believe that?) with hosts Bob Barker, and now Drew Carey.
Ever since it started, "The Price is Right" has featured attractive female models to showcase the various cars and living room sets that are given away as prizes. Mega-models like Janice Pennington, Gena Lee Nolan, Cindy Margolis, and Dian Parkinson have all graced the "Price" stage at one time or another. Now...it's the next step...a male model.
The show has announced that in late September, a search will begin on the show's website and also on its YouTube page. On August 30th there will also be an open casting call in L.A. Producers will be looking for "qualities such as their verbal skills, posing and ability to properly showcase a product." This according to the show's website.
YOU, the viewer, will get to pick the ultimate male model for the show through October 4th. Voting will be at: http://www.priceisright.com/
