We don't get many months of good golf weather around here, so we have to play when we can while the sun is still shining. If you do play golf, there's a special tournament coming up on Monday August 13th at the exclusive Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville. The tournament is called "Golf For Good" and is sponsored by Applebee's and WARM 106.9. "Golf for Good" is a chance for you to play on a top rated private course while you help to raise money for Hope Alliance For Kids. This great organization helps foster kids between 6-16 attend summer camp. Our goal is to help as many kids as possible attend these summer camps. The more money we raise...the more kids will get to go.
Try to put yourself in the shoes of a 10 year old child for a moment. Do you remember when you were young and how much fun you had going to summer camp? It's a place where lifelong memories are made. Now imagine that you can't go to summer camp, due to financial reasons. That's what this benefit tournament is all about...the kids. So please help the kids and come play golf with us on August 13th. Or...if you can't play, sponsor someone else to play. It would make a wonderful gift and you'd still be helping those kids go to summer camp.
Bear Creek Country Club is a private club, so this is a rare chance to have access to a beautiful golf course that you might not otherwise have a chance to play. The entry fee is $150 per golfer or $600 per team of four. Your fee covers your round, 1/2 golf cart, lunch, dinner, and prizes! But the most important benefit is helping the kids. If we get a full field for the tournament, Hope Alliance will be able to send 90+ kids to summer camp.
