APPLE

I'm a Mac guy. I LOVE Macs and just about everything Apple produces. I've always owned a Macintosh computer, ever since I got my first Mac Plus, back in 1988. I had a Mac when having a Mac wasn't "cool." Since then, I've had about 15 different Apple computers from the Mac Plus (which now looks like a fossil to me!), to the Mac SE, to the iMac, the Powerbook, and now my current Macbook. Wow, that's a lot of Macs.

The reason I like Macs so much is because they are so intuitive and easy to use. My friend left his PC at my house and I played with it for a few days. For me, it just felt clumsy compared to my Macbook. Don't get me wrong, to each his own. I have a lot of friends who love using a PC, but it's just not for me. I love the cost of a PC vs. a Mac. They are about 30-50% less money than a comparable Mac computer. Score that one for the PC. But you have to feel comfortable with your computer, and my Mac just feels like it fits me better than that PC. Another thing I like about Macs is that I've never had any issues with viruses. The hackers seem to avoid putting out a virus that affects Macs. That's a good thing and I'll stop talking about it because I don't want to give them any ideas.

Not long ago, Macs were scorned by PC users. Apple was thought of as a secondary company. Now, it's very different. Apple is the most valuable company in the world. Macs, iPhones, Ipods, and all of the great products that Apple produces now are the standard choice of celebrities and ordinary people alike. The iPhone 5 is due out tomorrow and analysts are predicting that Apple will sell as many as 8 million units....THAT is a lot of phones.

I'm happy that Apple has done so well. I've been a believer in this company for about 25 years. I love their products and I think I will stay a Mac guy forever.

Thanks for reading my blog today...

JordanG - I, for one, cannot WAIT for the iPhone5. Mostly, I'm excited about the improved camera so I can take better photos of my 4-year-old son on the go (my current camera leaves a lot to be desired). :)
