If you're a fan of American Idol, it's on TONIGHT starting at 8. We've been conditioned to watch for "Idol" on Wednesdays and Thursdays this year, but for the finale, they've moved it up a day.
It should be a really exciting finale with Jessica going up against Phillip "the giant killer." I say that because Phillip outlasted the one Idol contestant I felt certain would win it all...Joshua Ledett. Phillip is a wildcard and he has a ton of talent. A couple of weeks ago, he was singing a song and to me he sounded almost exactly like Chris Martin of Coldplay. I think it'll be interesting to follow his career and find out which musical path he chooses as he continues to develop his own sense of style.
Jessica could also win it. She is vocally gifted and in my opinion has had the most consistent performances of anyone. She can sing ANYTHING and make it sound great.
Good luck to Phillip and Jessica. One of them will be the next American Idol this week. Who do you think will win?
