While you’re waiting to win Kelly Clarkson tickets, watch her do The History of Duets with Jimmy Fallon

Kelly Clarkson, who’s coming to Key Arena on August 12, says she’s been having a hard time finding artists to collaborate with. She told a BBC interviewer

“I honestly would collaborate with a lot of people, but everyone usually says no. I’m not kidding you. I have legitimately asked several people who I’m not going to call out. And that’s cool, but I don’t know. I got John Legend to say yes, so that’s cool. I ask good people, I don’t want to sing with crap people, so I ask people who are great vocalists, but I’m not going to point out anyone. I have asked several people, but sometimes I feel like I have the plague, or leprosy, they’re like, if I get too close … I don’t know.”

So Jimmy Fallon stepped up and offered to make Kelly’s duet dreams come true. The other night the pair did “The History of Duets” on The Tonight Show:

Tickets for Kelly’s Seattle show go on sale this Saturday morning, March 14, at livenation.com. The 36-city Piece By Piece tour is to support her new album, Piece By Piece (duh.) She’ll be joined by Pentatonix and singe-songwriter Eric Hutchinson.

Oh yeah, and you can win your Kelly Clarkson tickets before you can buy them at 7:10am and 7:10pm each day through Friday of this week on Warm 106.9!
