Macy’s Star Lighting

After the My Macy’s Day Parade with WARM 106.9, and after a day of shopping we invite you to gather around outside of 4th and Pine for the annual lighting of the Macy’s holiday star followed by fireworks, weather permitting of course. Designed in 1957, the star measures 60 feet across and 161 feet high and contains 3,600 light bulbs, which surround its 1,000-watt mercury vapor center. Scheduled to light at 5pm.
