Father’s Day weekend is here and I thought I would take the opportunity to pay tribute to the dads in my life. I’ll spare you his baby pics, but here’s a good one of my mom and dad with their first, my sis, Carolyn.

Dad was a flight instructor during WWII and later went on to pilot B-24s over “The Hump” hauling gasoline into China. I could not have had a better father, or mother for that matter. Sadly, we lost him a few years ago but Mom is alive and very well as I write this.
Here’s a shot of son Glen with his (and Elizabeth’s) two wonderful kiddos Justin and Kate.
Son Bill here, with his little one, also named Glen… but we call him Baby Glennie. I’m so proud of my boys and their families!
My grand daughter Andie and her dad, Jon McKinney here.

The newest member of the family is Bennie, who was born last December 13th, and his pop, Jeff Palmer (who is deployed in Afghanistan as I write this.)

Here we all are, around Thanksgiving 2010 when we got together in Connecticut, where both Bill and daughter Alyssa live with their families. From the left: Bill, Glennie, my daughter Alyssa and her daughter Andie, me holding Kate, Elizabeth, Glen and Justin.
My dear dad’s legacy lives on in the lives of his family and for generations to come. Happy Father’s Day!
