One of my hobbies is helping some good folks in my community, by mowing the lawn at this fine place!
It happens to be just an easy walk to the world famous Black Diamond Bakery, where you will find great doughnuts and home style cooking with a terrific view of Mt. Rainier. Also a brand new second-hand bookstore between the Museum and Bakery!
The kids will love climbing aboard the train and caboose out front, and inside the museum there are LOTS of local artifacts that pertain to the history of our mining heritage - and other cool things. Even the lock-up for the town troublemaker!
