As some of you know, I get into the station early to prepare the morning show. I have a routine of checking various websites for interesting and relevant topics, and in the process today came across an article I thought you might find as helpful as I did, having to do with keeping the 'bugs' out of your computer.
Not a new topic, but I like to know what's out there in the cyber world for downloading to purge my home computers of anything malicious. In all honesty, I've not been too happy with the more known brand names of anti-virus software because I've found they tend to bog down my browser and I've actually removed one program and chose not to renew another. I know it's dangerous not to have at least some kind of protection, and that's where this article comes in.
I chose the SuperAntiSpyware she wrote about and it found... drum roll please... 798 threats detected! Holy guacamole! My computer was ready to explode, right?
There's helpful information in the article for anyone with a computer, so please check it out!
