Talking with Gina this morning, we were discussing a poll I noticed, in the wee-hours, on CNN.com about Valentines Day.
The poll asked "How do you feel about Valentine's Day?" and the three possible choices included "Love it, Loathe it, and Tolerate it".
Hmmm, I thought about it for five seconds and chose 'Tolerate' mainly because I think everyday should be Valentines and the day has become just another commercial vehicle for selling stuff. (Now I know, most women will hate my answer but it's my honest opinion.)
When I made my vote, I was really surprised to see, now at 3pm on the 14th, 67% of those voting have sided with me! What would be interesting is to know the ratio of male to female votes in their poll, in which over 172,000 votes have been cast.
19% loathe it and only 14% love Valentines Day. It's gotta be mostly a guy-answering poll, right?
So, tell me below where you line up with this and am I all wet for feeling this way? Thanks!
