It's easy, its delicious, and...good exercise, too--
WARM's Pinterest topic this week is Kids' Blackberry Recipes. Here's an idea that is so easy your kids can do all the work and actually enjoy it. Not only that, its delicious, and will get all of you outside for some good exercise.
Supplies needed: unbreakable pails or bowls, vanilla ice cream and, of course, blackberry bushes!
There are bound to be blackberry bushes somewhere close to your house or within easy driving distance. Simply pick those ripe ones--they practically fall off when you touch them--and fill up your container. Of course, it is allowed to eat a few as you are picking!
Return home, wash the berries, dish up the ice cream and top with those delicious just-picked berries. No additional sugar is needed.
