Happy 48th Anniversay Mom & Dad:)

Lucky me I always say. This is one of the many reasons.  My folks grew up in Tenino, WA.  They dated in High School in the 60's, married then had me.  48 years later, here they are.  I once asked my mom what it was like, to be with someone that long.  Her response:  "It's funny, when I look at him I visually still see the man I married.  I don't see age, I see him as he looks in old photos."  That said after 48 years.  Awesome.  They we're young when married (18 & 20).  Growing up I spent many weekends in Tenino with grandparents, and go back often as my grandma's (both) still live there.  I love that I'm a deep-rooted NW girl, and take pride in the fact that my folks are as happy today as the day they started dating:)  Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!  - Shellie Hart
