Yahooooo! It's the weekend, and somehow our 1 year-old Golden Retriever "SHUG" knows this:) She's getting used to the new schedule, and has been soooooo patient with me. She's been promised a dog-day in the park, rain or not today is the day. In anticipation, I checked in with my facebook friends for favorite dog-friendly parks and here's what they came up with: MAGNUSON, MARYMOOR and GRANDVIEW (SeaTac) topped the list. There are actually quite a few off-leash parks in the NW, including websites and magazines dedicated to our furry friends. One of my favorites is City Dog.
Not only do they have a list of off-leash playgrounds, you'll find things like dog friendly hotels and restaurants, vets, rescue, photographers, training and pet loss. AND, fun dog events (great for the whole family) on their DOG SOCIAL CALENDAR. Today for example (10/27): PUG-O-WEEN, BOWSER'S BOO BASH & Pit Bowl HOWLOWEEN.
