How quickly our extended Summer turned to our usual wet, Seattle Fall. And without missing a beat our commute time to work has increased, even doubled in some cases. Grrrrrr. I don't let it get to me, I'm grateful that I have a job and the travel time is worth the atmosphere here (awesome co-workers) and what I do.
My travel time has increased to an hour, and let me tell ya it's a challenge to not take advantage of that time returning emails and text messages while driving! But I don't, instead I leave the house with a full cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich and listen to Mark Christopher on my way in. I just LOVE his show! His encyclopedic brain and knowledge of the NW is so fun. That guy can spew out a Seattle Pop-Culture 'fact' quicker than the question! LOL. Mark's show is a snapshot of my day, and he get's me up to speed on events, entertainment and plays great music.
So 'THANKS' Mark Christopher, for making my commute time enjoyable:) As for the weather, well...that one sunny day and we forget all about the rain, that's how we roll in the Puget Sound and why we love living here.
And if it gets too much, take a weekend trip to Vegas:) - Shellie Hart
