Up On The Latest Online and Offline Lingo?

Collins Dictionary is soliciting help from the general public to keep up with the latest lingo online (and offline).

“For Collins Online Dictionary, it was essential that we keep our ear close to the ground listening out for new words emerging from pop culture, science and technology,” said Alex Brown, Head of Digital, in a press release.

Through www.collinsdictionary.com people are being invited to submit popular words for consideration. Participants have already created a list of over 100 new words, including creeping (think Jersey Shore) Teabowing and many more.

All language evolve, English often faster than others. But are we doing the english language a disservice? What do you think? Should "Beer Goggles" be included? A dictionary is there to explain existing words so what's the harm? Do you have suggestions for words to add to the Collins Dictionary?

I kinda like frunge myself.

1. Frunge

That awkward moment when two people are walking toward each other and try to move out of each others' way but end up continually trying to pass the same way.
"I wonder if they know that I meant to force that frunge."

Go ahead submit a few! You know like they say? YOLO Sean
