These Simple Actions Could Help Lower Your Stress Level

So what do you do with all that quiet time you all of a sudden have after the kids have started the school year?

...Staying on that back to school theme (you can't tell I'm looking forward to it can you?)

If you are a stay home parent or work nights NAPS immediately come to mind. After a week of not shaving, living in your pj's and find yourself getting up at the crack of noon you might want to spend some uninterrupted time de-cluttering and organizing the cave.

Living in a cluttered environment can cause you additional stress and drain you of energy, time, and even money! Now that the kids are off to school, this is the time to strike!

Here are a few little things I have done that make a huge difference.

Put some music on! Music can actually calm you down or energize you, You can harness the stress relieving and energy-inducing powers of music to help your cleaning efforts.

Toss or donate everything that you don’t need or love. Find a place for everything that’s left, so it’ll be easier to clean up. And don’t buy new things unless you absolutely need them.

Clean a little bit every day, and you just may have the magic formula for a cleaner, stress-free living environment! Now where did I put that remote??   ; ) -- Sean
