Reach For The Sky Valentine

Reach For The Sky Valentine

Uber, The mobile app that lets all of us grab a ride home?     Then there was the request for tree’s at Christmas, and then a dog on demand service. Uber now offers something very special for Valentine’s Day.

Uber, will enable users tomorrow, Valentine’s Day,  request sky messages from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Each sky message costs $500 and they plan to have a high volume of customers.

To create the sky messages, Uber has teamed up with MasterCard and AirSign. Users who request the service can deliver a message of up to 12 characters, so users may not be able to say much so ask the kids in the neighborhood for help.

After users request the so-called UberSky service on their device, a company representative will call them and ask for the desired message. The representative will then notify the user of the time they can expect to see their message.

Right now Uber App has Los Angeles, San Diego, Dallas and New York set up but nothing for Seattle. That could change so check with Mark Christopher in the morning on WARM for an update.
