Saying goodbye...

I apologize for being absent last week, I unexpectedly said goodbye to a light in my life.

My amazing grandmother passed on Saturday May 19th, and I will miss her every day. I want to share what an amazing role model I had in her with you, if I may...

She was a piano teacher, made the best molasses ginger cookies in the world, and could sew anything.

She worked for the Seattle Police Department Detectives unit in the 40's as the lead stenographer, and had a sharp sense of style I try to emulate everyday.

Thank you Grandma, for all the time and love, for all the life skills you taught me, and making me a better human being. I love you.
