Most parents have been there with their kids pleading for a pet, promising they'll take care of it, and that they'll do annnnnnnnythiiiiiing if you just get them one. Dad Dan Urbano was there with his two children -- Remi, 7, and Evelyn, 1 -- when he came up with what he thought was a clever way to put off their request for a cat.
He told them if a picture of them pleading for a cat could get 1,000 likes on Facebook, he'd buy them the cat. So their mom took a picture of them holding a sign that read, "Hey FACEBOOK! My sister & I REALLY want a CAT! My Papa PROMISES we can get one if we can get 1,000 LIKES! PLEASE like this picture! Thank you."
