Questions from last week!

Monday 1/7

While watching a  NFL Game on television we often see a camera shot of a head coach talking behind a clipboard or Playcard.  Why? Susan of Tacoma had it right. The original idea for this was to control the loud crowd noise and windy conditions on field when taliking on mic/headset. The Lip Read idea came months later after announcers started to guess the practice.  See Mark Christopher Blog for the whole story that involved John Madden.

Tuesday 1/8

"The Voice" Radio Edition ....name the celebrity voice of the commercial we play! The BEEF Commercial was Robert Mitchum-Actor (Midway, Tombstone and 1000's of movie and television times) then he was replaced by Sam Elliott and then came Matthew McConaughey....

Wednesday 1/9

This week in 1927 a Basketball team took the court and played their first game, name the team? The Harlem Globetrotters!  and they will be coming to our area in Feb 2013.  This question came to mind as the rumors  began early today of KINGS being new NBA team for Seattle.

Thursday 1/10

"Unknowns of the PC Keyboard"....with Number Lock on...what symbol appears when you press  SHIFT 0174 on the number keypad?  Had to cancel as Keyboard Style matters in this so we changed it to "What do they call the Cheerleaders in Atlanta?   Just plain and simple "Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders"  (I know...Sea Gals, Raiderettes, and so on make it more fun I say)

Friday 1/11

"Mark's Mystery Of Music"......We did a "Mother Of The Cover"....name the artist/group who gave birth to the song Baby I Love Your  Way/Big Mountain....the answer Peter Frampton
