It's Washington States version of Battle Of The Bulge. When the snow comes fast and deep as it will again this week in the Cascades, we often see portable cannons or timed charges to help bring down the snow lips and tall crests before some one gets hurt. At STEVENS PASS (U.S. Highway 2) they found a way to save money, be flexable and keep some old rigs out of retirement. These rigs are on call and ready for Snow Battle anytime.
