Snow fun while we sit and wait for it.

While we watch for the snow and its arrival in the Cascades. There are a few snow related events that I can share.  This weekend at the Washington State Convention Center, downtown Seattle. The "Ski Fever and Snowboard Show" will bring a very large venue of retailers and ski swap for all ages and skills. I’m also seeing some of the first screenings around the State for Warren Millers new film, “Flow State”. Some of the first to see it were in Spokane this week.  Tri-Cities and Olympia next week.  Closer to home then around mid November for the rest of us.  I’m excited to see my ski friend Tyler Ceccanti and his Japan shots in this film. Tyler and I favor Crystal Mt. as our ski home base. We share family stories of camping over the years in the parking lot there for a weekend.  Yes, I too also believe in the “Snow Dance” for getting the attention of Mother Nature. There is indeed such a thing among many of us skiers.
