Ski Time by Thanksgiving?

All of my favorite meteorologists are saying  yes! Snow is coming to the Cascades this weekend. Longtime skier I am. I also keep notes of winters past. Most years that end in 2 (1962, 1972, 1982, 2012) seem to be healthy for wonderful snowpack. We would also see snow deep enough by Thanksgiving for at least three areas to open based on this end in 2 formula.  Let us see what happens.  I also have connected with my friends at Warren Miller Entertainment.  Listen next week to WARM 106.9 during the morning for what I know about the new ski film for 2012 and if we have any local skiers or snowboarders in this film.
