Popping Tags, is this you?

I heard this mentioned among some fashion types when I was Downtown recently.  "Popping Tags",  describes a style and habit of clothing one chooses as a daily attire.

popping tags (verb) /pah ping tags/- to wear new clothing every day.
Example: I wish I could pop tags, but I'm really the kind of person who's much more likely to
be known for popping bubble wrap.
