Museum Of History And Industry Now at Lake Union!

While in the third grade at John Hay School-Seattle  (Queen Anne Hill)  one exciting moment for me? It was each year the third graders were given their first field trip off school grounds. That being a day at The Museum Of History and Industry. To see the actual pot that a guy named John used to boil glue in that started The Great Seattle Fire. To hear about the 400 foot tall trees that grew along the waterfront.  Learn about The Denny Regrade and how we dug down the city.pan style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  The parascope where you could see out to Lake Washington!  For years I could never remember as a kid how to find that museum hidden in the trees near the UW Campus/520 Bridge.  MOHAI has now moved and open at the new location on South Lake Union! Look at these shots from longtime MC source “Speakeasy Karen”.....The Slo Mo U-27 Hydro, The treasures of  JP Patches and The Lincoln "Toe" Truck.  mark@yahoo.com
