Taylor Swift is set to perform on FOX's X Factor during the elimination episode on Thursday (November 15th). She will sing a song called "State of Grace" from her new million-selling Red CD. X Factor airs at 8 p.m. ET. Taylor took home three awards at last night's (Sunday, November 11th) MTV European Music Awards -- Best Female, Best Live Act and Best Look.
Paul McCartney announced a mini-tour in the final weeks of this year. He has no date for Seattle but has Nov. 25th set for BC Place in Vancouver B.C. I was provided an inside look at his planned set list. Many songs he will play from his years of WINGS, a few Solo works (New) and for Beatles he favors “Birthday” and “The Night Before”. In early 90’s he loaded the KINGDOME with his music and fans and let’s not forget June 1976, close to 69,000 in the Seattle KINGDOME for WINGS OVER AMERICA. That was the KINGDOME’S first rock concert! He booked 30 rooms at The Edgewater Hotel. I was working there as a food server at the time. Yes, I was there at the show too!
Jackson Browne announced a Seattle show for later in January by the way. Jackson Browne has just added a 15-date acoustic swing through the Western states for early 2013. Browne will kick off the trek on January 19th in Portland, Oregon then right away to Seattle, and wrap things up on February 16th in Reno, Nevada.
