Over the years (few know) that I have become a popular media contact for many who have seen, heard or found items around Washington State that could be something of Bigfoot. I have promised privacy and silence in all discussions and experiences. I have directed some to move ahead with serious filings with organizations that have the funds and staff to research such events. I too had an back woods encounter long ago that I still cannot explain. Experts and authors like Greg Long “The Making Of Bigfoot”, Robert Morgan, Grover Krantz (WSU) have all had conversations with me over the years and shared their story. What friend would I be if I didn’t share the following Press Release and some day you happen to be at the right place with the right circumstances to capture a Bigfoot. First of all I hope you will call me.
Iconic Olympia Beer has been around since the 1800’s as well as the hundreds of Bigfoot sightings and reports. They now want to offer their input of interest of the existence once and for all. Olympia Beer offers a $1 million Bigfoot reward for “irrefutable evidence” of the fabled ape’s existence in a Press Release received by me today. The project will be collaboration between Olympia and The Falcon Project research team. TFP is one of the more serious Bigfoot research groups in today’s world.
The $1 million reward comes with its share of strings attached. For starters, there won’t be any lump sum payments. Rather, the prize will be handed out in $25,000 increments across a 40-year-span.
Secondly, the “irrefutable evidence” of Bigfoot’s existence must be in line with the contest’s official rules, and the offer is only good for one year, so you’ve only got until next April to solve a mystery that’s stood for close to 200 years.
The legend is such an ingrained part of American history, in fact, that explorer Daniel Boone, who died in 1820, claimed to have killed a creature called a Yahoo during his lifetime. Teddy Roosevelt went on file as seeing a Bigfoot in his travels long ago through the West as well. Here is more of the Press Release…
OLYMPIA, Wash. (April 9, 2013) – In an effort to highlight the proud histories of both Bigfoot and Olympia Beer in the Northwest, Olympia Beer has partnered with world-renowned Bigfoot experts at The Falcon Project to sponsor what may be one of the most comprehensive searches for Bigfoot ever conducted in North America. A grand prize of $1,000,000 will be paid to any person who finds “irrefutable evidence” of Bigfoot’s existence in compliance with the contest’s official rules. The yearlong contest launches today.
“We have been operating in the Northwest since 1896, so we know firsthand how important Bigfoot is to the people here,” says Evan and Daren Metropoulos, owners of Pabst Brewing Company and Olympia Beer. “In addition to our desire to spur scientific discovery in partnership with The Falcon Project, we’re also simply encouraging people to get outside and have some fun.”
According to the contest rules, there is no set type or amount of “irrefutable evidence” required to establish proof of Bigfoot. All evidence presented must satisfy the three member judging panel convened by Olympia Beer and The Falcon Project. Evidence must include conclusive DNA evidence and visual proof of a live physical body. Visual proof of footprints, bone fragments, inconclusive skeletal remains or any other non-definitive evidence of Bigfoot will not suffice as “irrefutable evidence.” Any photo or video taken of Bigfoot is not sufficient to qualify as evidence in and of itself, but may be considered as supporting evidence. The awarding of any prize is subject to the official contest rules. Contest rules and more details can be found at the Olympia Beer website. You must be “contest registered” to have any chance of this opportunity. email@example.com
