The Seafair Pirates have an annual Hallo
ween Dance party this Saturday at The Landing in Renton. It’s a benefit for children’s charities. It was a blast for many years for me to attend. It’s one of many great times we are hearing about this year for adult fun. Make sure to e-mail “mark@warm1069.com if you know of some great Halloween fun going on and I’ll share with listeners. By the way, yes, there was a time I was a Seafair Pirate. I was Cabin Boy Christopher. Can you find me in this photo I had taken in Grand Cayman? I was a kid at the time ha ha! To be a Pirate is about 2000 hours of volunteer time, Lots of parade's and festival's. Being able to be fun and entertaining around kids of all ages. Have a real costume and a gimmick. I did it for five years and it was a blast! Three other Pirates and myself were the first to hoist a Jolly Roger on top of The Space Needle. My gimmick was to be on water ski's (I had rollers under each ski) towed behind the Moby Duck at Torchlight.
Tomorrow on Mark Christopher (from 5a-9a)
Halloween and Pirates, I do have a haunting past my friends....
